Congress votes to extend PPP - headed to the White House for signature

Congress has voted to extend the application deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) through early August 2020. The bill is headed to the White House for the president's signature. If signed into law, this will provide Americans with a 5-week extension allowing businesses and independent contractors to take advantage of over $130 billion in remaining funds. You read that right, not a typo. There is over $130 billion remaining in the PPP program.
